But have you ever wondered how can this happen? How I am going to make a website? And the most important thing is how on earth can making a website can make me rich. - Find a Niche Topic:Niche is the topic/idea/theme of your blog. (Know more about niche here). It should be a narrow subject matter. Something you would love to write about or research about. It is better if you have some personal knowledge about the niche topic. For example my niche topic(of this blog) is blogging, my blogging journey, my blogging tips and what i have learned from blogging over the months. I have made another niche blog about the lives of internet millionaires because I was always passionate about the stories and journeys of people who made a living by making money online.See the blog here.
- Build a Site: Yes, you have thought about a good niche topic, but what to do next? One option is to buy a domain name, the other is to use free blogging platforms like blogger, Google sites of Freehostia.Buying a domain name is the best option, you are more likely to earn more because your website and blog would be indexed by search engines faster. But if you plan to earn money online (instead of spending it), like me you can choose what I chose, i.e., Blogger.
- Write Content: There are many ways to add content to your website. Firstly, write your own content , secondly, hire a freelance writer and thirdly use PLR Articles. I recommend writing your content yourself, because it is your niche and you should enjoy writing for your own site. I also recommend writing your own content because hiring freelance writer is very expensive and PLR Articles are not search engine optimized. Make sure you write articles using Google AdWords Keyword Tool and Word Tracker Free Keyword Tool.
- Monetize the Site: How to make money from your site. Yes, lovely feeling, can see green color (of dollars) already. You can earn money with Google AdSense advertisements, Bidvertiser advertisement and Chitika ads. You can also make money with Amazon affiliate links. You can also make money online by selling CJ (Comission Junction) and Click-Bank Products on your blog/website. Most impoatntly you can sell your own products and earn 100% of the money.
- Promote your site: Yes, the last step which means how to bring traffic to your blog. First of all you need to build back-links to your website by leaving links on similar site.(To know more about Back-links, see this).For example, I searched for similar blogger blogs on the niche of Blogging and left my comments on those blogs. I also asked the bloggers to exchange links with my blog. Submit your site to various search engines like Yahoo, Bing, Google Webmaster. Use social networking (social bookmarking websites) to promote your articles.
Tip no. 1: Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, Delicious, Stumble Upon, Digg it are some of the hundreds of social bookmarking platforms.
Tip no. 2: Making a Facebook Fan Page is reportedly important if you want to make money from your website seriously.
